Chirk AAA 4-2 Corwen
 
For the first time this season Chirk achieved two back to back wins after beating Corwen at Holyhead Road 4-2.  It was smiles all round with Chirk notching up another three points which moved them up to eighth place in the table.  Chirk led 1-0 at half time through Jon Paul Wood, his first goal of the season.  Second half super-sub Anthony Jones came off the bench to hit the back of the net twice with Wood adding another in the dying minutes. 
This will boost Chirk's confidence for next weeks home clash against Cymru Alliance side Mynydd Isa in the quarter final of the NEWFA Cup. 2.00pm KO

Caergwrle Castle 3-1 Chirk Reserves
 
Chirk Reserves fell to their third consecutive league defeat at the hands of Caergwrle.  They have now conceded twelve goals in their last three game which will be a cause of concern for manager Leyton Collings.  Chirk soul goalscorer was the born again Paul Roberts.
