Brynteg Village 4-1 Chirk AAA

A Chirk AAA  team that was down to the bare bones crashed to a 4-1 away defeat at the hands of Wrexham side Brynteg Village.  Chirk managed to scrape eleven players together with a several 'veteran' players stepping in to fill the void due to a number of last minute absentees.  The Chirk rearguard have now leaked 14 goals in the last three games which will concern manager Alan Reeves. Chirk's goalscorer was youngster Ben Humphreys.

Next week Chirk face Conwy at Holyhead Road in the opening round of the Welsh Cup.  This is a competition that they will ant to do well in with the added cash incentive of each round played.  This is a 2.30 pm K.O.
